Anri Heyns is an admitted attorney and notary with experience in corporate, commercial property and contract law. As a legal consultant, she has assisted with the structuring and drafting of contracts for a variety of commercial transactions. She has a keen interest in company law and contract drafting. In her work, Anri aims to assist her clients in managing business relationships and legal requirements through nuanced, customized and simplified legal advice and drafting.
Anri also has a passion for legal research and education. As of 2014, she has been lecturing property law, constitutional property law, jurisprudence and contract law. She obtained a PhD degree from the University of Cape Town in 2020 and remains involved with the activities of the DST/NRF Research Chair: Mineral Law in Africa at UCT.
Anri contributes to research projects on mining legislation and its impact on mining communities.
